I’m Justine, a French woman from Burgundy who fell in love with Geordieland during my Erasmus year at Northumbria University, Newcastle. There, I graduated from a Licence (French BA) in Foreign Languages & Communications in 2015, an MA in Multidisciplinary Innovation in 2016, and have worked as an Innovator in Residence since February 2018.
I’m passionate about people, and for that reason, I started volunteering with Nuevo Destino, where I have been the Head of Communications since February 2017. Nuevo Destino is a French NGO which helps families and their children living in the poverty-stricken Honduran jungle to become self-sustaining.
After more than three years in the North East, I’m afraid I still sound very French when mentioning ‘opportunities’.
